PURPOSE AND METHODS: The dynamic changes of blood pressure and heart rate in 31 cases of subcortical arteriosclerotic encephalopathy and 31 healthy controls were observed by dynamic detection technique. Results: All the patients had ambulatory blood pressure abnormalities. Among them, 27 cases (87%) had mean systolic blood pressure and mean diastolic blood pressure more than normal, 22 cases (71%) had abnormal basal blood pressure abnormality at night, and 20 cases (64% , Circadian rhythm reversal in 4 cases (13%). Patient heart rate variability Time domain indicators Standard deviation of all normal cardiac cycles within 24 hours, standard deviation of average normal cardiac cycle in 5-minute segments within 24 hours, the number of adjacent two normal cardiac cycle differences greater than 50 milliseconds within a certain period of time The percentage was significantly lower than the control group, systolic blood pressure and heart rate was not significantly correlated. CONCLUSIONS: This suggests that fluctuations in blood pressure and persistent nocturnal boost may play a role in the disease, which may be related to dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system in patients
