当今世界,信息技术是当前最先进的最广泛应用的科学技术。而教育,作为一个国家发展、民族素质提高之本,应该与最先进的科学技术结合起来,以更有效地施行教育这一活动,培养高素质人才,创造更高的科技水平。所以信息技术与学科的整合是社会发展的要求,也是教育发展的必然趋势。国家教育部基础教育司副司长李天顺在《落实“全国中小学信息技术教育工作会议”精神积极推进中小学信息技术教育》中说到:“信息技术与学科课程的整合是信息技术应用于教育的核心,是改革教育模式,教学方式和教学手段的重要途径。”
