一.引言中國數学史上现有很多懸案和爭論,例如勾股普遍定理最早的發現者为誰?“九章算術”的成書時代等等。但在1956年5月“數学通報”上又提了这样一个問題,即:圓周率3927/1250为誰所首創?其中錢宝琮教授認为是刘徽;而孫熾甫同志則主張是祖沖之,这兩种看法是不同的,在此以前也曾有过爭論,現在筆者也想就这問題發表一點管見,另外一个問題就是祖沖之的各种圓周率值是怎样求得的,尤其其中对於355/113一值的求得有兩种不同的主張:一是得自“調日法;一是得自連分數法,而筆者尚有第三种不成熟的看法,也在这裏介糾出來,請大家指教, 二.π≒3927/1250的作者 關於3927/1250的最早記載是在“九章算術”注中,而其注者最早的是刘徽,其後有祖沖之、甄鷟
