The research team of Ying Hao, Institute of Nutrition Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, found that mi R-378 in the liver acts as an important braking factor in the insulin signaling pathway and regulates the homeostasis of glucose and lipid metabolism by affecting the basal activity of the hepatic insulin signaling pathway . Experts believe that this discovery has raised people’s awareness of the hepatic insulin signaling pathway and has some theoretical significance for exploring potential targets for the intervention of fatty liver. Related results recently published in “Nature - Communications.” The researchers found that the expression level of mi R-378/378 * in the liver varies with the state of eating. Mice appeared conspicuous when mi R-378/378 * was overexpressed in mouse liver
