我国是一个多民族国家,民族团结是构建边疆少数民族地区和谐社会的政治基础。民族团结,是构建边疆民族地区和谐社会的重要资源,是发展边疆民族地区经济文化事业的政治保障,是构建和谐社会的内在要求和全面建设小康社会的政治保证。因此必须抓好马克思主义民族理论教育、党的民族思想政策宣传和青少年民族团结思想教育等工作。
Our country is a multi-ethnic state. National unity is the political foundation for building a harmonious society in the border regions of national minority. National unity is an important resource for building a harmonious society in frontier minority areas and a political guarantee for the development of economic and cultural undertakings in frontier minority areas. It is an inherent requirement for building a harmonious society and a political guarantee for building an overall well-to-do society. Therefore, we must do a good job in educating Marxist national theory, propagating the party’s national ideological and political policies and educating young people in ethnic unity.
