文化误读在文学翻译中是一种比较常见的现象,文章通过对被誉为“美国第一部自然主义作品”的《街头女郎玛吉》的译本的分析,重新审视了翻译工作者在文学翻译中的主观性问题以及译文读者期待视野对其主观性的影响。文章指出译者应将原作的意图鲜明并且完整的传达出来,避免不必要的漏译、误译或者编译;同时译界应更全面、更公正地审视误读现象,进而促进翻译学科的建设。
Cultural misreading is a relatively common phenomenon in literary translation. Through the analysis of the translated version of “Maggie on the Streets of Maggie,” known as “The First Native American Works,” the article revisits the work of translators The subjectivity in literary translation and the influence of the expected horizon of translated readers on their subjectivity. The article points out that the translator should express the intent of the original works clearly and completely, avoid unnecessary omissions, mistranslations or compilations; at the same time, the translator should examine the phenomena of misreading more comprehensively and justly, and then promote the construction of translation studies.
