前言 在过去的15年中,MIM有限公司和矿物处理工程协会的Csiro分部联合开发了Isa熔炼法。这种新熔炼法,是在Csiro熔炼喷枪的基础上发展的,采用炉顶插入、浸没燃烧(Floyd和Conochie,1984)的技术。Isa熔炼技术首先应用于铅熔炼,用2台炉子进行连续熔炼和铅的还原(Matthew等人,1990)。后来该技术又应用于熔炼铜精矿(Coulter和Fountain,1989;Fountain、Coulter和Fdwards,1991)、镍铜精矿(Bartsch、Fountain和Anselmi,1990)、铅—酸性蓄电池糊(Brew、Fountain和Pritehard,1991)和铅铁渣。Isa熔炼技术的发展(从实验室实验、小规模工厂试验到工业规模的工厂)已作过描述(Player等人,1992,Fountain等人,1993)。本文总结了15t/h铜Isa熔炼实验厂的生产,然后论述了MIM的104t/h厂的设计和投产。
Preface In the past 15 years, MIM Ltd. and the Csiro Division of the Mineral Processing Engineering Association have jointly developed the Isa melting method. This new smelting method was developed on the basis of Csiro smelting guns using the technology of top insert, submerged combustion (Floyd and Conochie, 1984). Isa smelting technology was first applied to lead smelting using two furnaces for continuous melting and lead reduction (Matthew et al., 1990). The technique was later applied to the smelting of copper concentrates (Coulter and Fountain, 1989; Fountain, Coulter and Fdwards, 1991), nickel copper concentrates (Bartsch, Fountain and Anselmi, 1990), lead-acid battery pastes Pritehard, 1991) and lead iron slag. The development of Isa smelting technology (from laboratory experiments, pilot plant trials to industrial scale plants) has been described (Player et al., 1992, Fountain et al., 1993). This paper summarizes the production of a 15 t / h copper Isa smelter and then discusses the design and commissioning of a 104 t / h MIM plant.
