青菜(B·Chinensis.rar.communis)味道鲜美,营养丰富,是长江流域城镇居民和农民百吃不厌的绿叶蔬菜。 中箕白梗菜(简称白梗菜)是常州著名的优良青菜品种,在本地已有数百年栽培历史。该品种叶如翡翠,梗如白玉,故名为白梗菜。共耐热性好,生长快,作伏缺细菜栽培12天即可上市;抗病强,产量高,作秋排菜,栽后30至40天上市,亩产可达5000kg以上。在常州1至9月均可播种或育苗移栽,供应期为3月上旬至12月上旬,产量约占蔬菜总上市量的一半。优选后的白梗菜,已在江苏,江西,湖南、四川、广西、福建等地广泛栽培,本市每年制种2.5万—3万kg,仍供不应求。 一、选育经过 白梗菜经多年种植,抗病性减弱,产量品质下降,为此,我们展开了以抗病高产为目标的选育工作。从近2万株发病的农家品种中,精心挑选出发病轻的母株,进行隔离选种,每年从中选出百株左
