“虚静”原是中国古代哲学思想中的一个重要范畴,由于儒道佛三家都强调虚静,所以中国古代不论是文学创作还是绘画、书法等艺术创作,都把虚静视为创作主体修养的最基本条件。中国画是一种“宁静而致远”的艺术,它特别需要良好的内功、平静的心态、多年的积累,才能达到一种较高的境界。而现代社会生活节奏的加快,大多数画家心态浮躁,功利心过重,很难坐下来学习、实践,更难以创作出绘画精品。另外,“虚静”是我国古代重要的思想,在中国山水画创作中加以强调,对于重新认识传统文化也有着积极意义。
