农作物地膜覆盖栽培技术的推广应用,对我国粮食的增产增收发挥了十分重要的作用。玉米地膜覆盖栽培技术(以下简称地膜玉米)起步较早,始于20世纪80年代末;小麦地膜覆盖栽培技术(以下简称地膜小麦)由于覆膜播种机械难以解决,直到1995年才进入大面积推广阶段,但发展速度很快;水稻地膜覆盖栽培技术(以下简称地膜水稻)虽然试验示范时间较长,但进入较大面积的推广却始于1998年。到目前为止,全国地膜玉米面积稳定在5000万亩以上,地膜小麦已经超过2000万亩,地膜水稻的推广面积也达到了70多万亩。
