自2008年起,Voith公司在德国铁路原V60(260)型机车基础上进行了改造设计,开发出新型261型机车。新机车订货共130台,分为两个功率等级:前100台机车(Gravita 10 BB系列)装用MTU 8V 4000 R43型柴油机和Voith L4r4zse U2型液力传动装置;后30台机车(Gravita 15L BB系列)装用MTU 12V 4000 R43型柴油机和Voith L530br U2型三变矩器液力传动装置。机车柴油机装配有共轨喷射装置、发动机电子管理装置以及FS 10 S型颗粒滤清器,可满足自2012年起生效的EUⅢB级排放标准。至2011年12月末,已经交付到261型062号机车。
Since 2008, Voith has been redesigned on the basis of the original German V60 (260) locomotive to develop the new 261 locomotive. The new locomotive orders a total of 130 units and is divided into two power classes: the first 100 locomotives (Gravita 10 BB series) equipped with MTU 8V 4000 R43 diesel engine and the Voith L4r4zse U2 hydraulic transmission; the last 30 locomotives (Gravita 15L BB series ) Is equipped with a MTU 12V 4000 R43 diesel engine and a Voith L530br U2 three-torque hydrostatic transmission. Locomotive diesel engines equipped with common-rail injection devices, electronic engine management devices and FS 10 S particulate filter to meet EU Ⅲ B emission standards effective since 2012. By the end of December 2011, it has been delivered to Type 261 062 locomotive.
