Aims This study compares the balance, motor function and fall problems of African-American and Caucasian older women. METHODS: The study population consisted of 118 black women and 180 white women, all from 17 centers in Arkansas, Central, provided that they were 65 years of age or older and were able to walk at least 30 feet and were not in recuperation and had no acute illness.
