The Liuqin, Sizhou and Huaihai Opera Symposium co-sponsored by the Chinese Opera Music Society and Xuzhou Cultural Bureau was held in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province from June 4 to June 8. More than 50 delegates came from Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, Anhui and Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Heilongjiang and Beijing. Attendees discussed the structural features of these musical compositions and their rules of application, their style and their aesthetic value, and put forward their own opinions on their future development.
