HP Vectra VL Series4 5/100机提供了许多新的功能,如提供了Windows 95键盘、空键启动计算机、电源管理等功能。笔者在使用这种计算机的过程中遇到一些关于这方面的问题。下面就将这些问题及解决方法介绍给同仁,以求共同进步。 1.安装内存时,自检结果与所插内存条不相符 我使用的HP机上有4条4MB的内存条。为了提高计算机的运行速度,购买了2条8MB内存条,原4条内存条分别插在A、B的4个内存插槽内。笔者将新购买的2条内存条分别插在C的2个内存插槽内,打开计算机后,计算机自检程序显示只有24MB内存,少了8MB。 开始怀疑2条8MB的内存条可能有坏的,但将它们分别插到其它计算机上时,系统自检正确,说明8MB内存条是好
The HP Vectra VL Series4 5/100 offers many new features, such as the Windows 95 keyboard, the free key to start the computer, power management and more. The author encountered some problems in using this kind of computer in this respect. The following will be introduced to these problems and solutions colleagues, in order to seek common progress. 1. Install the memory, the self-test results do not match the inserted memory I use the HP machine has 4 4MB of memory.
