Pulse and CW gyro tubes have been designed and manufactured for electron cyclotron resonance heating in plasma fusion experiments. The tube was designed to output 200 kilowatts at a frequency of 28 gigahertz with an electronically injected voltage of 80 kilovolts and a current of 8 amps.
