中学历史教材为进行民族意识的培养提供了良好的素材。作为中学历史教师,应该提高认识,善于挖掘各种素材,在培养学生的民族自豪感、民族精神、民族平等意识、维护祖国统一并反对民族分裂的意识、开放的民族意识等几个方面,努力培养中学生正确的民族意识;应改变过去划书、背书和纯粹的理论说教等灌输式教学方法,而采取联系实际的、灵活多样的教学方法,让中学生在学习历史的过程中获得正确的民族意识的情感体验,从小牢固树立爱国、平等、团结和开放的民族意识,从而真正发挥历史学科以德育人、以史育人的独特教育作用。
High school history textbooks provide a good source for the cultivation of national consciousness.
