从事产品生产的企业其主要任务是生产适销对路的产品,产生经济效益。但我们经常听到一些厂长、经理反映,企业找不到合适的产品生产,并为此而伤脑筋。分析其原因,主要还是他们对市场不够了解,缺乏开发新产品的思想。全世界50多亿人,每天要消耗大量物资和消费品,而且人们各有所好,需求多种多样。如果善于对市场进行调查、多倾听消费者的意见,就会萌发出开发新产品的思维。就以普通喝水用的玻璃杯为例,如果杯子改用变温玻璃材料,通过图素颜色变化,便可知水的温度,以此原理制成的杯就是新产品。一种新产品设计是在多种设计新思维的基础上经过比较才得以诞生。要开发新产品,首先要萌生设计新思维,然后通过努力去把它变成现实,因此应十分珍惜这种设计新思维。

To develop new products, we must first create new design ideas, and then work hard to make it a reality, so we should cherish this new thinking in design.
