没想到此文发表之时,本文作者冯鸿儒先生已经仙逝了。编者曾与冯先生有过数面之缘,最后一次见面是在今年6月中旬,冯先生大病初愈,面色苍白,但为了宣传和推广秦岭石文化,带病参加了座谈,编者在座谈会上向冯先生约了这篇稿子。真是天有不测风云,人有旦夕祸福,冯先生竞于2(116年7月22日下午因病去世了。编者初闻此噩耗,简直不敢相信自己的耳朵,泪水瞬间模糊了双眼冯鸿儒先生生前是原西安地质学院(现长安大学)地质博物馆馆长,1999年5月倡导创办西安观赏石协会,任常务副会长兼秘书长,2007年,任陕西省观赏石协会副会长兼秘书长,长期担任《陕西藏石》执行主编,是中国观赏石资源调查陕西省卷负责人和撰稿人、多年来,冯鸿儒先生无私奉献,为陕西省观赏石文化事业呕心沥血,足迹遍及三秦大地,发掘、研究、宣传陕西省的观赏石,辅导培养了一大批后起新秀,为陕西省观赏石文化的发展作出了不可磨灭的贡献先生一生平易近人,做人坦荡,做事公正,做学问严谨,是我们后辈学习的榜样。借此文发表之际,在此沉痛哀悼这位可敬的学者、专家、长者、德高望重的石文化践行者,愿您一路走好!
