主持人语根据我国钢铁行业的发展特点,钢铁生产企业的物流活动主要包括三部分内容,即原材料采购运输、钢铁生产物流和产成品销售物流,其价值分别体现在:降低采购、运输成本,服务于质量和生产管理,完善营销体系。钢铁行业生产工艺复杂,内部物流管理难度大,优化生产流程、建立适合的信息系统、实现钢铁生产过程中的标准化等已经成为整个钢铁行业物流系统建设的重点。其中,许多大型钢铁集团企业近年来都在不同程度上进行了信息系统的建设和完善。加强对生产的实时计划和控制,并进一步提出产供销一体化的物流管理目标。在本期专题中,我们通过介绍钢铁行业常用的物流管理技术,ERP、MES系统建设的特点、趋势,及其与条形码、无线网络技术等的结合应用,反映钢铁行业物流系统建设的现状和需求。
