农产品市场是我国改革开放最早的领域,经过二十多年的演生发展,形成了一个与我国农业生产经营以农户家庭为单位相对应的“小规模、大群体”性的农产品流通体系。 随着市场需求的快速发展,尤其是加入WTO后我国农业所面临的冲击、挑战和危机,进行农产品结构调整,转换生产经营方式,与国际接轨已是当务之急。或者维持原有农产品市场流通体系;或者在原有体系的基础上,借鉴日韩经验,建立日韩式农产品市场流通模式;或者以市场经济发展的本质特性为理论基石,顺应人类社会商品流通方式的历史演进规律与趋势,以国际竞争全球化、区域化为背景,结合客观实际对我国农产品市场流通模式从战略高度进行定位、决策并实施,已成为政府决策者、农产品生产经营者、理论研究工作者必须完成,而且十分紧迫的历史使命。
