浮子室外通气孔的控制装置是一个在发动机停车时,把从化油器浮子室产生的汽油蒸气导入收集罐以改善发动机起动性的装置.用于这种装置的旧式温度转换阀采用双金属,它随发动机室的环境温度动作.因双金属转换阀的动作特性(1)受大气温度或运转条件的影响,(2)转换阀反应滞后,所以不能完全满足发动机的要求.为了改善其特性,本研究采用新材料“形状记忆合金”代替原来的双金属,利用电磁线圈的发热代替发动机室的温度,在满足外通气转换阀所要求特性的同时,谋求轻量化和低成本.新式浮子室外通气孔转换阀已研制成功.
