本文基于前人的研究成果和名词化结构的理据和特征,从语用学的角度就名词化结构的词汇层面和句法层面的翻译问题进行了探讨。科技文体属于一种非常正式庄重的文体,名词化结构不仅使科技英语表达精练、准确,而且使得整个语篇具有严肃性和权威性。只要翻译时注意其行文特点和写作规律,译语顺应读者对象和原文具体的交际场合,译文就可达到可接受的程度。 Based on the research results of past scholars and the motivation and characteristics of the nominalization structure, this article discusses the lexical structure of the nominalization structure and the syntactic level translation from the perspective of pragmatics. Scientific and technological style of writing belongs to a very formal and solemn style. Nominal structure not only makes S & T English expressive and accurate, but also makes the whole text serious and authoritative. As long as the translator pays attention to the characteristics of his or her writing and the law of writing, the target language can achieve an acceptable level of translation according to the audience and the specific communicative context.
