(一)沥青磨耗层的特点自1961年以来,湖南省干线公路上已铺沥青磨耗层整100公里,面积达63万平方米。在交通量300~400辆/昼夜的情况下,迄今使用时间最长的已近三年,路面状况仍基本良好。沥青磨耗层是在清扫干净的泥结砾(碎)石路面上浇洒一次沥青,再撒以砂或石屑的一种保护过渡式路面的措施。利用适当稠度的沥青,使一少部分下渗起透层油作用,又有大部分留在表面把砂或石屑粘结起来起主层油作用。这种保护层具有如下特点:(1)施工简便沥青磨耗层施工程序少,洒油撒砂各一次。施工后可以立即开放行车。施工中
