党的十八大报告指出:“社会主义核心价值体系是兴国之魂,决定着中国特色社会主义发展方向。要深入开展社会主义核心价值体系学习教育,用社会主义核心价值体系引领社会思潮、凝聚社会共识。倡导富强、民主、文明、和谐,倡导自由、平等、公正、法治,倡导爱国、敬业、诚信、友善,积极培育和践行社会主义核心价值观。”在中学思想政治课教学中,我们要自觉地用社会主义核心价值体系引领思想政治课教学,要把社会主义核心价值体系融入思想政治课教学的全过程。
