作为欧美前现代基督宗教史谱系中的第四部研究指南,《阿什嘉特反宗教改革研究指南》反映出该领域正在经历新文化史转向,以往基于社会史问题意识的课题逐渐淡出,而以感官、生活周期、神圣景观、物质文化等涉及天主教信仰的鲜活面向的课题逐渐成为主流。在新文化史方法论的刺激下,前现代天主教被置放在近代早期史的框架中重新评估。“表征”“实践”“协商”“妥协”“驱动力”“互惠模式”等核心概念贯穿全书,用以再现近代早期天主教作为多网络信仰共同体的多面性与复杂性。该研究指南附有重点参考文献目录,既有回顾,又做出前瞻,非常有助于读者把握欧美基督宗教史的学术流变。
As the fourth research guide in the pedigree of pre-modern Christianity in Europe and the United States, “Ashgabat’s Guide to Anti-Religious Reform” reflects that the field is experiencing a shift in the history of new cultures.
