对一种高增压柴油机连行了模拟试验,以调查可变气门定时对优化部分负荷工况产生的作用,用试验数据对模拟进行了比较,发现减少气门重叠度在部分负荷时是有利的。减少重叠的最有效的作法是延迟进气门的开启时间。若调整进气门相位以延迟进气门的开启时间,则可最有效地减少残留燃气倒流到进气歧管内。用一个单一凸轮轴的特别简单机构作用在柴油机上便可做到这一点。此种机构也可用于在满负荷时控制峰压,且使之易于起动。
A simulation experiment was carried out on a high-turbocharged diesel engine to investigate the effect of variable valve timing on optimizing partial load conditions. The simulation data were compared with the experimental data and it was found that reducing the valve overlap was beneficial at partial load . The most effective way to reduce overlap is to delay the intake valve opening time. Adjusting the intake valve phase to retard intake valve opening time minimizes the backflow of residual fuel into the intake manifold. This can be done with a very simple mechanism with a single camshaft acting on the diesel engine. This mechanism can also be used to control peak pressure at full load and make it easy to start.
