自俄国十月革命后,社会主义这一坚实力量的出现改变了资本主义独霸世界的格局。资本主义与社会主义两种制度共存的序幕正缓缓拉开。列宁正视苏维埃所面对的种种问题,对资本主义与社会主义两种制度的关系这一崭新的研究领域进行了积极的探究与总结,并由此得出了“两种制度和平共处”和“利用资本主义发展社会主义”的思想见解。在全球化浪潮加剧的今天,如何正确处理资本主义和社会主义这两种制度之间的关系仍是各个大国应该不断研究的重大课题,尤其对于世界第一大发展中国家的中国来说,两制关系的处理是关乎社会发展的重要现实课题,具有极大的理论价值和实践价值。
