In the time when companies face counterproductive behaviors of its employees,the reasonable management seeks to resolve such issues, and one of thecountermeasures that could be taken against such behavior is increasing employeesproductive behavior.But the question raises how to increase such behavior and whatinfluences it.In this my dissertation I have proposed a model based on the researchdone in 2005 by Brown M.E.and Trevino L.K.In their research called "Ethicalleadership: A review and future directions", they are talking about ethical leadershipand in what directions could be done future research developments.I have adoptedsome variables from their proposal and have tested whether it is true or not.Ihypothesized that if organization has in it a leadership which is ethical in its actions,words and work that positively influences the counterproductive behavior and alsoinfluences the prosocial behavior of the employee.At the same time I have researchedwhether leaders personality influences ethical leadership. Questionnaire was given in four countries.Totally in my research took part andagreed to hand samples fourteen different companies.In my dissertation Im trying toexplain the importance of the ethical leadership.And that in some cases ethicalleadership not necessarily main influencing factor on decreasing thecounter-productive and increasing prosocial behaviors.At the end Im trying toanalyze and give suggestions with shortcomings of this research.
