The low-carbon economy is sweeping the world and consequently the low-carbon logistics is drawn its first breath.In order to promote the development of low-carbon logistics, the following operational strategies are proposed: to develop low-carbon transport by optimizing transport routes, using large-scale transport implementation ,growing the rail transport and carrying out container transport; reducing the number of delivery vehicles and the vehicle emissions via joint distribution; to reduce the logistics facilities and equipments energy consumption by carrying on the scientific selecting location and the layout to the warehouse, and the reasonable inventory management; to improve facilities and equipment utilization and reduce material waste by centralizing distribution processing ; to spread low-carbon packaging by using the readily biodegradable, no environmental pollution packaging materials and the recycled packaging; choosing the most suitable loading and unloading facilities; to reduce the actual logistics activities and environmental pollution by realizing "virtual logistics" in the use of information technology.In short, the low-carbon logistics system is achieved by optimizing all aspects of the logistics activities.
