“纳木错”为藏语,意思是“天湖”。纳木错湖是世界上海拔最高的大型湖泊,也是西藏“三大圣湖”之一,是著名的佛教胜地。纳木错湖因为如同“蓝天降到地面”而得名。远处雄伟壮丽的念青唐古拉山,因为纳木错湖的衬托而更加挺拔;清澈的湖水,因为雪山的倒映而愈加绮丽。早在12世纪末,藏民中就形成了羊年在纳木错绕湖的习俗。飘扬的经幡、遍布湖畔的玛尼堆,迎宾石上的哈达,承载着人们对圣湖的崇敬。
“Nam Co is wrong” is a Tibetan language, meaning “Tianhu”. Nam Co Lake is the world’s highest lake and is also one of the “Three Sacred Lakes” in Tibet. It is a famous Buddhist resort. Namtso Lake named because of its “blue sky down to the ground”. In the distance, the magnificent Nyainqntanglhala Mountain is more tall and straight because of the Nam Co Lake; the clear lake is more beautiful due to the reflection of the snow-capped mountains. As early as the end of the 12th century, the Tibetan people formed the custom of going around the lake in Namtso during the Year of the Goat. Waving streamers, Mani heap all over the lake, Hada on the welcome stone, carrying people’s respect for the holy lake.
