装备信息技术的确只是开始,但有序、合理地装备信息技术却也是目前我国大多数CIO要处理的主要IT难题。任何成功都有理由,任何失败也都会有原因。IT技术与企业商务之间交汇的那一点,需要无数的细节来支撑。由此,中石化、内蒙古电力、英迈中国……一个个进入了我们的视野。坦率地说,这些故事既难言曲折,也说不上新奇,但它们的主要特点是大量发生,普遍存在。它们对于国内的CIO应该是非常熟悉——那就是他们每天的工作。我们相信,作为企业制度的一项变革,对CIO这一职位的说明将不会来自商业教科书的谆谆教导,而可能也只应该来自CIO们克服难题,努力以“技术驱动商务”的具体而繁复的实践
