2004年,惠安党政以敢为天下先的精神,大手笔写春秋的胆识,智慧、气魄,创建30万吨石油码头,填补中国在福建、台湾海峡大型船坞船舶修造能力的空白。在此,带动一批工业项目成功引进,去年新投建项目149个,新投产项目101个,完成投资11.73亿元,引进名都鞋业、华一聚氨等大企业。加快基础设施建设,沿海大通道惠安段建设进度居泉州前列;相继投建浮山、下宫、松村、大竹等四个陆岛码头,铺就惠东、惠南和辋川区域三条供水管道,建成三个输变电站。与此同时,产业集聚效应凸显,优化结构调整。全县实现工业总产值325亿,年增长16%;该县四大主导产业石雕石材、食品饮料、鞋服包装、五金机械完成产值232亿,年增长12.8%,占全县工业总产值71.38。该县已形成一批产值超10亿、20个亿的产业板块。这是惠安党政利用山海优势,做强做大资源文章的结果。展现了时代弄潮儿精神的冲劲,闯劲,创劲。
