雪人组合成立于2000年,由四位青春靓丽的女生:张慧勇、褚云霞、高旖、鞠培媚、魏翔(新增补)组成。她们都受过高等音乐学院严格的专业训练,具有良好的音乐素养。2000年,在中央电视台第九届“步步高杯”全国青年歌手电视大奖赛中,她们以和谐纯净的声音,典雅大方的风格,青春靓丽的形象,首次采用女生四重唱的形式,成功演绎了约翰·施特劳斯的名曲《蓝色多瑙河》,一举夺得美声唱法铜奖,并在团体决赛和个人
