金属模广泛用于混凝土及钢筋混凝土构件的工业生产中。然而,由于金属材料的短缺、定货批量小、金属模的制造赶不上需要、或者制品表面设计成某种形状或浮雕图案,而在不少场合此类外形和图案实际上无法用金属塑形时,金属模在建筑中的应用就受到了限制。在振动台捣制混凝土的条件下不能使用木模,因为它承受不了大的动荷载。而采用流动性混凝土时由于使用平板振动器或插入式振动器进行振捣,又会造成水泥耗量的大大增加。木模在用于次要构件生产时的周转系数仅为3~4。
Metal molds are widely used in the industrial production of concrete and reinforced concrete components. However, due to the shortage of metal materials, the low ordering volume, the need for manufacturing of metal molds, or the design of the surface of the products into a certain shape or embossed pattern, in many cases such shapes and patterns cannot be actually shaped with metal. The use of metal molds in buildings is limited. The wood form cannot be used under the condition that the vibratory table is made of concrete, because it cannot withstand large dynamic loads. In the case of fluid concrete, vibrating with a flat plate vibrator or an insert vibrator will cause a significant increase in cement consumption. The turnover coefficient of wood molds for the production of secondary components is only 3 to 4.
