高波的摄影作品具有直接而强烈的冲击力。每件作品都很大,不过观众从作品的尺寸所得到的印象并不是高波投入于作品的比例。作品的比例为等身大小,或者说给人以等人大小的幻觉。观众的感觉不是面对这些人物的复制形象,而更像是面对沉默冷峻的人物本身。这种效果多少有些令人不安。人物的面部表情是在冷酷地向外凝视,他们的目光所遇到的是观众探究、羞怯、疑问的眼神。他们的凝视直接而又神秘,目光中闪烁出许多故事。
Gao Bo’s photography has a direct and strong impact. Each piece is large, but the impression the viewer receives from the size of the piece is not the percentage of the piece that waved into the piece. The proportion of the work is the size of the body, or to give the illusion of the size of other people. Audiences feel not to face the reproduction of these characters, but rather to face the cold and silent characters themselves. This effect is somewhat disturbing. The facial expressions of the characters are staring out at the cold, their eyes are in the eyes of the audience to explore, shyness and doubt. Their gaze is direct and mysterious, with many stories in their eyes.
