In 2010, an open competition was held at the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University to design a new college canteen to replace temporary facilities. The project site is located in a dense area between two historic buildings of different ages. The project is facing the main facade of a modern Thai-style amphitheater with beautiful concrete decorations, on the other side, on the side of the 4-storey college building, with a dramatic repetitive composition of the façade windows.
