Rural English teachers in Guiyang County are blessed. The County Bureau of Education helps them plug in their wings. The “Research on the collective preparation of classes for rural English Center teaching and research units” has improved their quality. This subject was awarded Hunan Province in December 1998. The second prize for the fifth basic education, teaching and research reform, and the “Method and Means to Improve the Quality of Rural English Teachers” were studied in the foreign language teaching experiment of the Basic Education Department of the Ministry of Education.
