按照体育教学大纲所制订的教学计划要求,体育课在每学期都要对2-3项教材进行测验或考试。同时随着《大学生体育合格标准》的实施,在课堂上测验身体素质项目的次数还会增加。为此,加强对测验、考试课的安排是十分必要的。但必须明确,这种测验、考试本身并不是目的,只是一种手段,是通过测验、考试这种手段来完成教学任务,及时了解教学、锻炼效果,发现问题,提供反馈信息,对教学活动具有重要反馈调节作用。也是使学生随时了解自己学习锻炼的效果,及时强化学习动机,产生积极的心理效果和鼓舞作用。那种以为测验、考试课只是对学生进行测验、考试的看法是错误的。目前在测验、考试课的安排上确实存在一些问题,主要表现是:
