为进一步贯彻落实《中共中央国务院关于加强青少年体育增强青少年体质的意见》和《中共北京市委北京市人民政府关于加强青少年体育增强青少年体质的实施意见》,2008年9月,北京市教育委员会就加强中小学体育课程教学提出意见,其中第6条规定:“初中学段要实行男女生分班教学……确保《体育与健康课程标准》的有效实施,确保体育课程教学的实效性。”本栏目在2008年11期开辟了关于“初中体育课男女分班”的专题讨论,刊登了《推行男女生分班教学,确保初中体育课程教学实效》、《对中学体育课男女生分班上课的探讨》、《初中生男女分班上课好处多》等文章,学者、教师从不同角度阐述了他们对男女生分班上课的看法,文章普遍持肯定态度,主张推行初中体育课男女分班教学的模式。其实,男女生分班、分校上课的讨论由来已久,许多中学相继试行了男女生分班上课的举措,学者、教师、家长、学生包括媒体等众说纷纭,《中国学校体育》杂志作为一个学术交流平台,欢迎广大读者开展讨论分析,为我国学校体育教育改革的发展提供更多科学依据。
