文化具有强大的吸引力和凝聚力。中华文化,是中国成为世界旅游大国的基石。中华文化打造了五彩缤纷的、内涵丰厚的中国旅游产品,推动了中国旅游业的迅猛发展,短短20年时间,中国旅游业就由世界第41位提升到世界前5位。灿若繁星的皖南人文景观,让世人叹为观止。西递、宏村、棠樾、屯溪老街等徽州文化故里,18年前就开始了旅游业的开发,成为中国乡镇文化旅游的排头兵。2001年黄山山下人文景点的旅游观光总人数,就已经超过黄山风景区,初步实现了黄山市15年前提出的以星罗棋布的人文景观与自然景观为星星,以黄山为月亮,形成“众星拱月”的旅游架势。这正是徽州文化被逐步认识、逐步开发的必然结果。
