In order to study the effect of feed particle size on the growth performance of juvenile P. carpio and the growth difference of polyculture and monoculture of juvenile P. pengze juvenile, three growth and contrast experiments were conducted: the same size feed Pengze Juvenile crucian carp growth test; different size feed diets large-scale Pengze crucian carp juvenile growth test; different specifications of Pengze crucian carp polyculture with the same size juvenile single growth contrast test. Each growth test was conducted in two treatment groups with 3 replicates in each group with feed particle sizes of 2.00 and 3.00 mm respectively. The average initial body weights of juveniles were 1.32 and 13.42 g, respectively, for a period of 30 days. The results showed that in the first experiment, the juvenile of Penjing crucian carp (Carassius auratus gibelio) fed with 2.00 mm particle size could get the growth effect, and the weight gain rate (WG) and specific growth rate (SGR) (P <0.05), feed conversion coefficient (FCR) and feeding rate were significantly lower in the juvenile group (P <0.05). In the second experiment, the weight gain rate and the specific growth rate of the 2.00 mm feed group were significant (P <0.05), the feed coefficient was significantly lower than that of 3.00 mm particle size feed group (P <0.05), and the dietary feed with different particle size had no significant effect on the feed intake of juvenile > 0.05). In the third experiment, the weight gain rate and specific growth rate of the large size Pengsai crucian carp were significantly higher than those of the large size and small size larval polyculture group (P <0.05). Studies have shown that unsuitable feed particle size has a significant negative impact on juvenile crucian carp growth.
