济南西站将是全路七个主要路网性编组站之一。站型为单向二级四场(建成上行系统后为双向二级六场),现有下行编组场设三十二股。其中1—8股为编发线。驼峰采用双推单溜半自动调速:第一、二制动位设置DK—77、DK—76型减速器;第三制动位是半自动控制的7501减速器;第三制动位后使用铁鞋制动。尾部有三条牵出线,采用平面调车电气集中。
Jinan West Railway Station will be one of the seven major road network marshalling stations throughout the road.
