八宝海水库始建于1956年8月,1958年6月竣工。枢纽工程由主坝,一、二、三号副坝,溢洪道.输出洞等级成。主副坝均为匀质土坝。该水库兴建时由于没有对坝基做防渗处理,主观基中有3~5m厚的砂砾石层,自水库畜水后一直存在着严重的渗漏问题,危及着大坝的稳定安全.经研究对主副坝坝基进行防渗灌浆处理。帷幕位置在坝轴线基础之下;帷幕型式主、副坝一律采用单排直线型悬挂式;灌浆深度主坝控制在建基面以下15m左右,一、二号副坝控制在建基面以下10~12m;灌桨控制标准以岩石单位吸水量w值为0.1L/(min·m·m).经过对防渗处理后的主、副坝坝基进行检测分析,大坝坝基渗漏问题得到明显的控制。
