本文立足于笔者的教学实践,对目前我院公共英语学习的现状进行了分析,从学生大学英语学习的实际水平和心理因素两方面,说明了文化背景知识导入的必要性和实践性。从而有益于提高该专业学生的语言实际运用能力和跨文化交际能力。让学生在了解英语背景文化知识的前提下学习,更有助于词汇的巩固和课文的知识的理解和运用。 Based on the author’s teaching practice, this article analyzes the present situation of public English study in our college, and illustrates the necessity and practicality of introducing cultural background knowledge from the practical level and psychological factors of college students’ English learning. Which is beneficial to improve the language practical ability and intercultural communication ability of the major students. Let students learn English background culture under the premise of learning, but also help to consolidate the vocabulary and text knowledge to understand and use.
