江泽民同志在《在庆祝中国共产党成立80周年大会上的讲话》(以下简称《讲话》)中指出:“马克思主义具有与时俱进的理论品质,如果不顾历史条件和现实情况的变化,拘泥于马克思主义经典作家在特定历史条件下,针对具体情况做出的某些个别论断和具体行动纲领,我们就会因为思想脱离实际而不能顺利前进,甚至发生失误,这就是我们为什么必须始终反对以教条主义的态度对待马克思主义理论的道理所在。”江泽民同志的《讲话》站在时代的高度,系统总结了我们党80年的光辉业绩和基本经验,全面阐述了“三个代表”重要思想的科学内涵,深刻回答了新的历史条件下加强和改进党的建设需要解决的重大问题,进一步指明了党在新世纪的奋斗目标和伟大任务。这篇具有历史意义的《讲话》中始终渗透着一种鲜明的立场观点和积极进取的思想方法,那就是:“与时俱进”。
