1982年7月11日,西安第四军医大学的学生张华,为抢救一名落人粪池的老农,献出了34岁宝贵的青春年华。次年的5月1日,他的100多位同学,又在华山脚下,奋勇抢救遇险的中外游客。张华和战友们的英雄壮举,谱写了一曲社会主义精神文明的颂歌。党和人民高度褒奖了他们的献身精神。中央军委授予张华“富于理想、勇于献身的优秀大学生”荣誉称号;中宣部、国家教委、总政治部、团中央授予他所在的第四军医大学二大队参加抢险的学员们“华山抢险战斗集体”的光荣称号。从此,“两华”的事迹和精神,传遍了八百里秦川,传遍了中华大地。 金秋时节,记者来到第四军医大学采访,处处感受到在二大队这片沃土中,张华的生命在延续,精神在光大,旗帜在飘扬。

Central Military Commission awarded Zhang Hua “full of ideals, the courage to devote themselves to outstanding students,” the honorary title; Central Propaganda Department, the State Education Commission, the General Political Department, Central Regiment awarded him where the Fourth Military Medical University Second Battalion to participate in rescue students “Huashan rescue Fighting collective ”glorious title. Since then, the deeds and spirit of “two China,” spread over 800 miles of Qinchuan, spread all over China.
