【前言】在浇灌混凝土时,要求新拌混凝土有良好的和易性,而在硬化之后要求产生最高的强度,这是两个矛盾的要求。在理论上,0.27左右的水灰比已足够使混凝土中的水泥完全水化。任何多余的(为改善混凝土混合料的和易性所要求的)水都会降低混凝土强度(与可能获得的最大强度相比)。人们已经知道,通过合理地选择原材料、颗粒级配及养护条件,生产出密实的混凝土是可能的。这些混凝土的抗压强度可以超过900千克每平方厘米,弯曲抗拉强度可以超过100千克每平方厘米。
[Foreword] When pouring concrete, it is required that the fresh concrete has good workability, and after hardening, the highest strength is required, which is two contradictory requirements. In theory, a water-cement ratio of about 0.27 is sufficient to fully hydrate the cement in the concrete. Any excess water (required to improve the workability of the concrete mix) will reduce the concrete strength (compared to the maximum strength that may be obtained). It has been known that it is possible to produce dense concrete by rational selection of raw materials, particle grading and curing conditions. The compressive strength of these concretes can exceed 900 kilograms per square centimeter and the flexural tensile strength can exceed 100 kilograms per square centimeter.
