钱君匋(1907—1998),祖籍浙江海宁,生于浙江桐乡屠甸镇。著名艺术家、音乐出版家、上海文史馆馆员、西冷印社副社长。从艺七十余年,遍涉书籍装帧、音乐、新诗、散文、书法、绘画、篆刻、艺术理论以及教育、出版、收藏等诸多领域,尤以书画、篆刻融冶古今,自辟新境,名重当代。1987年,钱君匋先生将其历时大半生收藏的明、清及近现代书画、印章和自作的书画、印章、书籍装帧等共4083件珍品捐赠给桐乡市人民政府,政府也为之建造了君匋艺术院。
Qian Jun 匋 (1907-1998), ancestral home Haining, Zhejiang, was born in Tongxiang, Zhejiang Tudian town. From the arts more than 70 years, all over the book binding, music, poetry, prose, calligraphy, painting, seal cutting, art theory and education, publishing, collection and many other fields, especially in painting and calligraphy, seal engraving ancient and modern, Heavy contemporary. In 1987, Mr. Qian Junli donated a total of 4,883 treasures from Ming and Qing Dynasties, including modern and modern paintings and calligraphies, seals and self-made paintings, seals and book bindings, collected for most of his life to the Tongxiang Municipal People’s Government Jun 匋 Art Institute.
