福建是个多山的省份,自古交通极为不 便,有“闽道更比蜀道难”之称,铁 路交通运输更为落后,已远远不能适应改革开放后福建经济快速发展的需要。为改变落后的铁路现状,从1985年起,对入闽铁路通道方案论证开始,又陆续规划了7条铁路。自90年代初起,开工建设了漳泉、横南铁路,梅坎铁路也于今年3月正式开工,并对福建铁路建设与管理体制进行改革。经过几年努力,改革已取得显著成绩,也显现了良好效果。
Fujian is a mountainous province. Traffic is extremely inconvenient since ancient times. It is said that “Fujian Road is more difficult than Shu Road.” Rail transport is far behind and is far from being able to meet the needs of rapid economic development in Fujian after the reform and opening up. In order to change the status quo of the backward railway, starting from 1985, the railway project plan for the entry into Fujian Province has been started, and seven railways have been planned one after another. Since the early 1990s, the construction of Zhangquan, Hengnan Railway and Mei-Kan Railway have been officially launched in March this year and the reform of the railway construction and management system in Fujian Province has been started. After several years of hard work, the reform has made remarkable achievements and shown good results.
