模具在现代机械制造工业中应用甚广,其类型繁杂,使用条件各异,性能要求不一,唯有具备良好综合性能的模具可望取得优异的效果。化学热处理能赋予表面与心部不同的性能,有可能较好地解决诸如耐磨性与韧性等矛盾,是提高模具寿命的重要手段。而单纯着眼于改变模具材料的成分或整体强化工艺,往往顾此失彼,事倍功半,甚至徒劳无功。看来,根据不同模具的具体服役条件,把模具材料的选择与表面强化措施合理地结合起来,才是多快好省地提高模具寿命的合理途径。本文根据一些生产中的实例,对化学热处理在模具生产中的作用和模具钢的发展提出一些粗浅的看法。
Die in the modern machinery manufacturing industry is widely used, the type of complex, different conditions of use, performance requirements vary, only with good overall performance of the mold is expected to achieve excellent results. Chemical heat treatment can give the surface and the heart of different performance, it may be better to solve conflicts such as wear and toughness, is an important tool to improve the life of the mold. And simply focus on changing the composition of the mold material or the overall strengthening of the process, often take this one loss, duplication of effort, or even futile. It seems that, according to the specific conditions of different mold service conditions, the choice of mold materials and surface strengthening measures reasonable combination is faster, more economical and reasonable way to improve die life. Based on some production examples, this paper gives some superficial opinions on the role of chemical heat treatment in mold production and the development of mold steel.
